Benjamin Jennebo:
"I love to let myself get totaly caught up in something creative. Often it’s about lyrics or music, but when I’m not sitting around writing melodies or lyrics I love to spend my days reading or painting, get my emotions out on paper or just do sketches.
I had a period before pur album „Rise And Shine“ where I spent my days painting my face to find the new look for the live shows. My girlfriend at the time thought I was crazy when she came home and saw me like this. But for me I was in my creative zone, I saw the big picture in my head rather then how it looked for her.
I know I often talk about my vision and that may appear like something really strange for others when they can’t see the final result that is in my head. Same thing with everything I do, I’m already on the stage with the big crowd when I‘m at home writing that super hook or waving with the crowd in front of the mirror when my neighbors are walking by, or just standing in the line in the supermarket singing without thinking of the people around me.
But I would love to see more people show the world about their dreams."
Das neue Album von SMASH INTO PIECES heißt „Evolver“ und erscheint am 12. Oktober über Gain Records. Im November und Dezember geht die Band zudem auf Tour durch den deutschsprachigen Raum.
