It speaks to how modernity estranges one from the voiceless voice within them, and on the consequences of ignoring the call of their instincts. It also happens to be my favorite song (musically) that I've ever written. I set out to carve deep valleys and build tall mountains when writing this album, and I believe this song to be the best example of that achievement."

VITRIOL: Playthrough-Video zu "Shame And Its Afterbirth"
Peter Beste Die Death-Metal-Band VITRIOL veröffentlicht ihre dritte neue Single "Shame and Its Afterbirth", zusammen mit einem Clip, in dem Gitarre und Bass zu hören und sehen sind. Der Track stammt vom kommenden zweiten Album der Band, "Suffer & Become", das am 26. Januar 2024 über Century Media Records erscheinen wird.

Die störrische Art, unpolitisch sein zu wollen, nervt mich aber an der Metalszene – dabei ist doch alles politisch, auch Schweigen.
